After saving, sales and expenses recorded on or after the "as of" date automatically adjust Cash / Bank Account / Credit Card Liability / Sales Tax Payable.

As of date *Pick the date your accounting period starts (often Jan 1 of the current year). Sales/expenses before this date won't affect the balance sheet.
